Modern Slavery Statement

For the Financial Year Ending 31 December 2025

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by Westpoint Software Solutions Ltd during the financial year ending 31 December 2025 to help prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chain.

1. Introduction

Westpoint Software Solutions Ltd is committed to acting ethically, with integrity, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations across all areas of its business. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are committed to taking proportionate and practical steps to reduce the risk of such practices occurring within our operations or supply chain.

This statement reflects the nature of our business, the structure of our supply chain, and the controls we have in place to support responsible and lawful business conduct.

2. Our Business

Westpoint Software Solutions Ltd is a UK-based cloud engineering consultancy. We design, build and support software systems for organisations operating in complex environments, with work typically focused on cloud architecture, platform engineering, software delivery, data systems, and systems integration.

As a service-based business, Westpoint does not manufacture goods and does not operate a physical production supply chain. Our direct workforce is made up primarily of skilled professional workers engaged in technical, delivery, and operational roles.

3. Our Supply Chain

Westpoint operates a relatively low-complexity supply chain compared with businesses involved in manufacturing, logistics, or large-scale physical operations. Our supply chain consists primarily of cloud infrastructure providers, including AWS and Azure, software and technology vendors used for development, collaboration, and productivity, professional service providers such as legal, accounting, and payroll support, and, from time to time, independent freelancers or specialist contractors engaged to support delivery.

Given the nature of our business, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low. We also consider the overall risk within our supply chain to be relatively low, while recognising that no business is entirely exempt from such risks and that responsible oversight remains important.

4. Our Policies and Controls

Westpoint maintains a number of practices and controls designed to support ethical business conduct and reduce the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in its operations and supply chain.

These include carrying out right-to-work and eligibility checks before hiring employees or engaging workers, using written contracts for employees and contractors, working with reputable suppliers and service providers, and applying contractual terms or clauses where appropriate when engaging third parties.

Westpoint also maintains an employee code of conduct and wider expectations relating to ethical behaviour, responsible working practices, and compliance with applicable laws. The company provides a route for raising concerns, including through whistleblowing or internal reporting mechanisms, and operates with clear anti-bribery and ethical business expectations. Services are engaged and paid for through formal invoicing and payment processes, and key supplier relationships are reviewed at director level where appropriate.

In addition, Westpoint provides structured onboarding and role preparation for new team members, alongside communication of its expectations around professional conduct, ethical behaviour, and responsible working practices.

5. Risk and Due Diligence

As a software consultancy, Westpoint’s direct business model does not rely on low-skilled, seasonal, or large-scale outsourced labour. This significantly reduces the likelihood of modern slavery risks arising within its own operations.

The company’s main areas of potential exposure are through third-party service providers, technology vendors, and occasional external contractors. Westpoint seeks to mitigate these risks by engaging reputable organisations and individuals, maintaining formal contractual arrangements, and reviewing key supplier relationships where appropriate.

Westpoint has not identified any instances of modern slavery or human trafficking within its business or supply chain during the reporting period.

6. Our Ongoing Commitment

Westpoint is committed to continuing to review and strengthen its approach to identifying and addressing the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking. This includes continuing to monitor supplier relationships, maintaining appropriate internal controls, and keeping relevant policies and practices under review as the business evolves.

We recognise that responsible business conduct is an ongoing obligation and that maintaining appropriate standards requires continued attention, even in businesses where the overall risk profile is low.

7. Approval

This statement has been approved on behalf of Westpoint Software Solutions Ltd.
